Although sales for Assassin’s Creed III dominated the gaming charts last week, many people were wondering how the PS Vita’s Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation fared. It sounds like sales of the game were good according to an interview with Ubisoft.
Ubisoft stated the following on GameIndustry.biz:
“It’s the first time we offer another experience in a different format, but there are certain connections between the games. Consumers are aware that Aveline, the main character of Liberation, may have a future in future games of the saga Assassin’s Creed. ”
“For now, we are very pleased with the initial results shown by the PlayStation Vita version of the game is the best result for the first week of a game in 2012.”
PS Vita gamers that loved Aveline as a character will be happy to know she may appear in future Assassin’s Creed video games. Maybe she will appear in main Assassin’s Creed game in the near future?
