Timber and Stone’s lone developer Robert Reed has recently announced some of the progress he has made since the project was successfully backed on Kickstarter.
Firstly, Reed revealed that he had added a bunch of new crops to go alongside wheat which was originally the only plant-able food source. Reed not only named the crops on the image above but also released a list of the crops “Corn, potatoes, pumpkins, turnips and carrots will all be used as a direct food resource, but wheat will require further processing to produce food. Lastly there’s flax, who’s harvested fibers will be used to craft cloth and rope.”
After adding crops it seems that Reed turned his attention to fixing bugs to do with placement of blocks and units walking into and getting stuck by placed blocks. Thankfully, according to Reed “pathfinding is a lot less buggy” even if it was “quite a bit of work”.
