Visuals Remain Crisp
The visual side of The Walking Dead: The Game has always done an excellent job of immersing you into the experience by bringing a graphic novel feel to fit the narrative. Episode 5 is no different from the rest. The facial expressions and gritty look of the game make it seem once again as if you are watching a graphic novel in motion. Watching Lee go on a killing spree through a group of walkers is epic as hell as well.
NOT
Still Some Small Hiccups
No Time Left still suffers from the small hiccups that we have seen in the previous episodes of the game. You will occasionally see some slowdown when going through large groups of walkers and I even saw one clip through a lamp post at one point. The sound occasionally doesn’t match up with the game but that wasn’t as big a problem as the previous bugs. The episode is still phenomenal but even the minor things are enough to briefly bring you out of the experience.
VERDICT
The Walking Dead: The Game – Episode 5 – No Time Left is an excellent ending to the first season of the game. It told an amazing story and kept me hooked throughout the 7 months it was released. By the time the credits finished rolling, I found myself wishing that more was coming next month. Even though this was a downloadable title, I am not afraid to say that it was one of the best games that I played this year. If you haven’t played it yet then definitely look into picking it up when it releases on disc on December 4.

November 23, 2012 at 10:11 PMI cried at the end, very few games have done this to me, so few that I can count them on my hand. Probably Red Dead and this. However, this had much more of a toll on me than Red Dead (probably because the ending was spoiled for me).
The character development was phenomenal. I crave games with great plot and character development, this is why Left 4 Dead was never for me. I just got hooked, the wait in between each episode was more and more unbearable.
I’m extremely satisfied with this game, as of now I’m not impatient for next season, (due to discipline on waiting between episodes), but I’m left with two important questions:
1.) Is that Omid and Christa? (Def not a mirage) Side note; Why did they leave city?
2.) Kenny is still alive? I hope he doesn’t become evil and we meet in Season 2.
