Guardians of Middle-earth already received its PSN release announcement and plans on hitting the PlayStation 3 digitally on December 4th. Now, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions have announced that the downloadable title will hit Xbox Live one day later, December 5th.
At launch, over 20 Guardian characters can be used online on two maps. Those numbers will continue to grow, however, as it was also announced that a Season Pass would be available for purchase at the price point of $14.99/1200 MS Points. Snagging the Season Pass will offer players “discounted access to a significant amount of additional game content to be released in the future, including Guardian characters, map skins and a new gameplay mode.” The specifics regarding this content will be revealed later on.
