Gamestop has reported that Wii U pre-orders are now at 1.2 million units.
Gamestop told Gamasutra that the pre-order figure is double that of the original Nintendo Wii console when it was released six years ago.
In terms of top games that have been pre-ordered, ZombiU, Assassin’s Creed 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Scribblenauts Unlimited and New Super Mario Bros. U are at the top so far.
The Wii U is out in North America from November 18th while the console will be out in Europe, Australia and New Zealand from November 30th.
