Among the changes in Ninja Gaiden 3 was the reduced gore, something that long-time fans enjoyed as a visual treat for their brutal and precise skills.
In addition to a handful of other changes to the Ninja Gaiden 3 formula for its debut on Wii U, Tecmo Koei has revealed that dismemberment will be returning in Razor’s Edge. So, regardless of which of the 6 starting weapons Ryu is wielding, you can be sure of one thing: Razor’s Edge is going to be twice as gruesome as you remember.
