With LittleBigPlanet Vita having released across the three regions in the past few weeks, cross compatible downloadable content is being gradually added to the Playstation Store. Unfortunately for some out there who have a rather large collection of LittleBigPlanet DLC, not everything is compatible, nor is it planned to be, it seems.
First off, there seems to be a problem with the God of War minipack on the Playstation Store currently. Many users have reported that despite owning the pack, which includes the Minotaur and Medusa costumes, exclusively, they do not have free access to the Vita counterpart like they should. The team that works on the Playstation Store is said to be currently working on fixing this, as it is definitely a mistake.
Secondly for those wondering about access to their Beta costumes, whether it be the beta Vest, or the elusive Bug Blaster, bad news. Unfortunately, these two items will not be cross compatible, and will have to be earned again if they are to be used in the Playstation Vita version of the game. As we noted recently, the LBP Vita Beta costumes codes were sent out last week for those elegible.
Lastly, there seems to be a problem with the rare “LittleBigPlanet Cap” that is currently earn-able from Twitter community participation. Before this new method was arranged for all regions, North Americans were able to get this content piece by downloading it from an episode of Qore. This content piece should work, but for some reason it is not, and it will be looked into as such.

October 30, 2012 at 10:21 AMIt isn’t just the cap, I have a long list of costumes and packs that I’ve downloaded onto my PS3 again (but not installed, as it states in the instructions) but aren;t appearing in content manager on my Vita. Only my rare LBP Vita shirt appeared in the content to transfer to my Vita.. the other items are just sitting on my PS3 and Vita for some reason just isn’t seeing them.
