Just yesterday afternoon, Shehui Yoshida tweeted a picture of Ico HD running on a Playstation Vita. Many were curious as to what this could mean, whether it be a sign of remote play advancements, or a port, similar to the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. A little bit later, he followed up with some great news regarding how the game will be available on the PS Vita.
Sorry to tease you, I was play testing ICO HD Remote Play on PS Vita. We are almost ready with a patch. Beautiful on OLED. More info soon.
This is great to hear, but it leaves people wondering if Ico will be the only title to be included in the patch, or if it will include Shadow of the Colossus, as well as the first two God of War games. Sony had originally mentioned these three titles, as well as Ico HD being available to Remote Play. Though not much was said of it at E3, it didn’t fail to excite people. The current planned resolution for Ico HD on Vita will be 852 x 480. Keep an eye on JustPushStart for when the update is available, and more!
