During a panel at PAX, Hideo Kojima talked about about Konami’s new impressive Fox Engine.
If you saw the first footage of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, you would have already seen how impressive the engine really is.
Here’s what Hideo Kojima had to say:
“The thing is, once we get the Fox engine moving as we do now. You can make an FPS, you can make an Uncharted, etc. But what I wanted to do is make an open-world game, and that’s what I’m doing now.”
Hideo Kojima added that the engine’s versatility could even power other Konami games in the future like Silent Hill.
