Starting the month of October, those who loves buying digital games will no longer have to wait for their AAA title to appear on the PSN to buy as SCEA announced today that eight PS3 titles will be coming to the PlayStation Store on the day it releases in retail stores. This new program that SCEA will start next week is called PSN Day 1 Digital!
Assuming that you’re also a PlayStation Plus subscriber, certain games on the list below will entitle you a 10% discount from the game’s retail price. Let’s say you pre-ordered Dishonored on the PSN and you’re a PS Plus subscriber, that means instead of paying $59.99, you’ll only pay $53.99! Now that’s a huge savings! If you want to save, you can only get that 10% off during the week of the game’s release.
Here are the list of titles you can expect to arrive on the PSN on day one:
Resident Evil 6
(Available for download on October 2nd – $59.99)
