Yesterday afternoon, EA Sports ‘Season Ticket’ holders in North America were given early access to FIFA 13 (Which is available from shops on the 28th September). This ‘Season Ticket’ not only gives users early access to the game but will give them a handful of free packs for the ‘Ultimate Team’ Game Mode. At the moment, only people in North America will be able to download the game but at 18:00 BST ‘Season Ticket Holders’ from Europe will be given access to the download. The file is roughly 6GB and will expire by the time that the game releases on the 28th.
The download will contain ALL the features of the finished game such as the new ‘Matchday’ feature and all the usual game modes. The Season Ticket will give you:
- Early Access to FIFA 13
- 24 Premium Gold Packs on FIFA 13 Ultimate Team. One delivered each week.
- 20% discount off of all Ultimate Team Packs.
- Free access to the FIFA 13 Creation Centre Downloadable Content
The season ticket will set you back 2000 Microsoft Points or £19.99 (UK), $24.99 (NA), €24.99 (EU), $39.95 (AUS), $47.90 (NZ) on the PSN Store. However, if you own both consoles you will have to purchase both as the Season Ticket is not ‘Cross-Console’. The subscription lasts for 12 months and will give you special offers on all EA Sports games. Your save progress from the Early Release will be carried over to the retail version, so no worries there.
