Capcom confirmed today that Resident Evil 6 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 is indeed coming this October 2nd as the game is going gold this week. With the game’s gold status, fans will not have to worry about the game getting delayed as according to Capcom, Resident Evil 6 is 100% complete.
In addition, Capcom also announced a free online service that RE fans can take a look at; ResidentEvil.net. In the new site, players can see all sorts of information about Resident Evil 6. Also, when the game launches this October, players can enjoy the following benefits (assuming they pick up the game):

o Weapons used
o Medals earned
o And more· Compare your game with those of friends and other Resident Evil 6 players around the world
· Link your status with Twitter & Facebook
o Share your latest achievements with friends

o Exchange points for cool items including additional Mercenaries costumes or figures to place in your very own Resident Evil diorama· Compete in regular organised events such as:
o Join fellow gamers to defeat a set number of enemies
