In the latest production report from the Kojima Productions team, the team talks about Metal Gear Rising Revengeance’s cutscene lenght and codec conversations.
The team revealed that Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is an action game and will therefore have shorter and less cutscenes than in the previous Metal Gear Solid games. If you remember, Metal Gear Solid 4 had by far the longest cutscenes in any video game…
The team also explained that this game’s story will be told more via codec conversations. Codec conversations can happen in real-time whole you’re playing or you can call your partners back for additional info like before.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is due for release early 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
