Originally scheduled for release this September, the team behind the Lord of the Rings Online announced this week that the Riders of Rohan expansion has been delayed until October 15th.
According to Kate Paiz, Executive Producer of LOTRO, the team have “identified issues that we think need to be addressed before we can launch. In order to address those issues and meet our expectations for quality we’re going to need more time.”. While the delay may sounds really disappointing to fans, players who pre-purchased the expansion will be receiving 500 Turbine Points and a goodie bag of consumables. The points will be awarded automatically and a code will be sent to players – the code will be redeemable around September 5th.
