Bonce Tappin’ was a surprisingly fun “Whack-a-Mole” variant type mini-game, which included Sackboy, and you had to “help keep their birthday surprise secret”. While it this is an incredibly simple mini-game both in concept and reality, it still plays well and is enjoyable quick game. Whether you only have a few minutes for a break, or you have all day and are hoping to take the top spot on the leaderboards, Bonce Tappin’ is a mini-game for everyone.
Sackling on the other hand is an arcade series that you may have already briefly heard of. Even if not, it has a very similar style to LIMBO in terms of how it plays, aside from the fact that it isn’t heavily violent at times. Going off of the provided screenshot above, you are the little black and white figure towards the bottom right. Your ultimate goal seems to be getting to the pink figure across from the main figure.
When it comes to Sackling, not much is particularly elaborated on, but it doesn’t seem to matter. Basic controls are given to the player when they begin the first level: tap where you want to go. The player, by trial and error progresses through levels, being caught by scary figures and breaking out. This is an interesting set of mini levels within one that is rather interesting to give a playthrough or two when you have a little bit of time on your hands.
Though there are already a nice amount of levels for you to play in LittleBigPlanet on the Vita, that certainly doesn’t mean you should neglect the create mode in the game.
LittleBigPlanet fans from the past will definitely be familiar with LittleBigPlanet Vita’s create mode features, as they are very well created around the current LittleBigPlanet tools so they could be easy to use. What this means is that whether you have played all previous LBP titles, or are just picking up the title on the Vita, you will still be able to pick up and play as easily as the last person.
With all of the Vita incorporated tools in the latest entry in the LittleBigPlanet series, the possibilities become even more endless than they already were previously. Stay tuned in the next couple months for more hands-on with LittleBigPlanet for the Playstation Vita.
