343 Industries has confirmed through NeoGaf that Halo 4’s Spartan Ops DLC will be longer than the campaign seen in ODST.
Here’s what was mentioned on some of their posts:
“Spartan Ops season alone is longer than Halo 3: ODST.”
“Spartan Ops and Campaign are completely separate teams. As Frank mentioned earlier, the main campaign is substantial and will compare favorably with previous entries in the series.”
There was some concern that Halo 4’s campaign is shorter than in previous Halo games but this sounds like 343 Industries promises the game will be of decent length.
Spartan Ops is an all-new feature in Halo 4 that replaces the Firefight mode that first appeared in Halo 3: ODST. The first season of Spartan Ops will add new content to the game each week over a ten week period. This will sure to keep gamers happy after they’ve finished the Halo 4’s main campaign…
