Square Enix has today announced that Hitman: Blood Money is yet another title to be offered for free on Square Enix’s Core Online service.
Core Online is a HD gaming service which uses the gamer’s browser to play the games for free. Mini Ninjas and Hitman: Blood Money are the two games currently available on Core Online and they are soon to be joined by Lara Croft: Guardian of Light. To play the full games for free all players will have to do is sit and watch some advertisements to ‘earn’ play time.
This could be a method of play to watch out for; with developers trying to cash in on their old games and possibly even new titles if the concept takes off.
