According to Sony Computer Entertainment president Andrew House, he told Reuters that Sony is aiming to sell 10 million PS Vita units in the current fiscal year.
This means Sony is expecting to sell 10 million units of the portable system by March 31st, 2013. The company hopes it will be able to reach this target with a strong Holiday software lineup.
With the likes of Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation due out later this year, the PS Vita already has two exclusive blockbuster titles right there.
The only barrier that could prevent their target from being reached is that Sony revealed it has no plan to drop the price of the PS Vita soon. We’ll just all have to find out together if Sony’s target has been reached…
