It seems that the PS Vita isn’t doing as great as Sony would hope, despite it being a magnificent piece of hardware.
Following the past few weeks of various offers available when purchasing a PS Vita, this week Amazon has yet another deal. All week, when you purchase a PS Vita (WiFi or 3G model), you will receive Escape Plan for free. Escape Plan is normally priced $14.99, so this isn’t too bad of a deal if you’re looking to get a Vita.
If you’re unsure about either, check out our PS Vita review, and our Escape Plan review for reference.

June 24, 2012 at 7:31 AMI love how only new purchases get these promotions. What about the love for the people who bought around release?
Granted, i only bought this system because i have $85 in ‘vouchers’ as an apology from Best Buy that i had 2 weeks to spend, it makes me feel good every time i wait to purchase a game/console.

It seems like common place now-a-days for early adopters to somewhat get screwed, unfortunately. Sales on the Vita aren’t as great as Sony would like, as stated, so they’re trying to get people to buy by offering stuff from free games, to free cases, to credit, to gift cards, and that type of stuff.

July 17, 2012 at 8:41 PMmy vita that i bought from Amazon during this sale didn’t bring a voucher for this game. i figured it would be a great time to buy a vita because i won’t be forced to buy a 40 dollar game when i can keep my self entertained with this. but now i just have a vita.. and a memory card.. with no game. and i don’t have the money to buy a game right now.. so i’m just stuck with a vita and some apps. :( amazon even told me i was gonna get the escape plan voucher with it.. and nothing.
