Recently, Nintendo announced the existence of the 3DS XL. While this news didn’t come as a shock, the missed opportunity of adding a second Circle Pad upset many current Nintendo supporters and possibly potential buyers. Thanks to a Q&A in Famitsu’s newest issue, we now know that the 3DS XL will not be left out.
Making the larger system even bulkier, Nintendo plans on releasing a Circle Pad Pro accessory for the 3DS XL this year, in Japan at least. A price point or release window for other regions is not known at this time. Be sure to check back soon for more 3DS XL information.
