THQ mentioned earlier this month that it will not have it own booth at E3. The publisher will also have minimal presence at Germany’s Gamescom as well.
THQ is still deciding whether to attend the event at all. At E3, the publisher won’t have its own booth, but will still be attending the event to showcase new games such as Darksiders II. A THQ spokesperson said they are still “discussing options”.
The main reason THQ will not have its own booth at both E3 and Gamescom are purely for financial reasons. The publisher isn’t at the best shape right now financially and simply cannot afford to spend lots of money on flashy booths etc.
