According to theverge, Microsoft is planning on launching a $99 Xbox 360 package with a monthly subscription. The package will include a 4 GB slim, Kinect Sensor, Xbox Live Gold Services and a two year warranty. While this might sound good, you will have to pay a 15 dollar subscription fee or face a termination fee.
While this might sound like a bad deal, the contents of the bundle would cost around $420 and this will cost you $459 or $39 more dollars. Considering you get the ease of paying over time, the little extra isn’t a bad trade off, plus it could open the door to similar offerings in the future. Only time will tell, but it could certainly be an interesting thing to consider.
