Today, 505 Games and Behavior Interactive announced Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise, the download-only follow-up to the 2010 retail game, Naughty Bear. Our ultra soft and sadistic star is back and, once again, he’s been left out of the other bears’ exciting plans. Of course, Naughty won’t let their actions go unpunished. He plans on hunting them all on Paradise Island.
Following the success of our first outing with Naughty Bear, we really wanted to push the limits and give players a lot more freedom to be as naughty as they can and help Naughty Bear get revenge on the other bears who have been so mean to him” said Victoria Reeve, senior global brand manager, 505 Games. “With the first Naughty Bear game audiences responded well to the juxtaposition of cuddly innocence, dark humor and over the top violence. We’re really looking forward to seeing what they make of all the great new features we’ve packed into Naughty Bear Panic in Paradise.
Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise will contain 30 missions across 11 locations that will allow players to test out the “over-hauled combat system, brand new leveling up system, equipment customization with thousands of combinations” and every other upgraded aspect of the game. Check out the short teaser for the title below:
While the last Naughty Bear did not receive the best review scores, it was still a unique gem that gained a following. Hopefully this downloadable title will further open up the series so that more people can experience the fluffy carnage this fall.
