Microsoft has announced a new event that will be happening this weekend. During the event, all streaming apps will be available. This means that even if you are not a gold Xbox Live member, you will still be able to use Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, and more. A full list of the applicable apps for this event can be found here. The event will run from this Thursday, April 19th at 9:00 AM PST, to 9:00 AM PST on April 23 (next Monday).
Even if you don’t have a subscription to any of the applications, many actually offer free trials for those who want to give them a try. Unfortunately for those who aren’t fans of any of the services, “online multiplayer, video Kinect, and deal of the week will not be unlocked”.
