Capcom has revealed that Resident Evil 6 will support both online and split-screen cooperative modes, similar to Resident Evil 5. The multiplayer will be drop-in drop-out so that you want have to restart a level or revert to a checkpoint just so you can play the game with a friend. Capcom also revealed that Mercenaries mode will return but will be unlocked from the start of the game, rather than having to beat the game first to unlock it.
Today has just been a great day for fans of Resident Evil. They got a brand new trailer for the game which revealed some mind-blowing points and a new release date of October 2, 2012. Now they don’t have to wait as long to wash the bad taste of Operation Raccoon City out of their mouth.
