A year ago there were rumors of a kinect Gears of War game. These rumors seemed possible, since Gears of War: Exile was trademarked around the same time. Since then there hasn’t been any new information, until Gamespot asked Cliff Bleszinski about it at PAX.
“Let’s just bury the hatchet now,” he said. “Gears of War: Exile was an unannounced game that I can’t give any details about that has since been cancelled.”
While nothing is known of the title, besides it was rumored to be an on rail shooter. This might have been the right call, considering how many titles got poor games based off gimmicks. In any case, the title is dead and that’s really all that matters.
