You may have heard of Lollipop Chainsaw, the bizarre zombie-slaying title coming to us this year from Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games. Those same minds are working on another new title.
Are you a fan of No More Heroes and Killer 7? If so, listen up. Suda 51’s latest project is called Killer is Dead. No, it’s not a sequel to Killer 7 (unfortunately), but it does share some similarities. The gameplay will mix components from Killer 7 and No More Heroes, with the main character wielding a sword during action sequences, but it will distinguish itself from both with new additions that aren’t being revealed just yet.
Killer is Dead follows the story of a condemned man trying to kill his assassin. The plot is described as a more twisted James Bond story or, as it was stated in the announcement, “Dark Side 007”. No 007 story would be complete without the women and we’ve been assured that “Bond Girls” will be present.
Killer is Dead will release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2013.
