Better late than never, some may be saying now that banned users are allowed to use Origin games offline. It seems that EA is a bit more forgiving and not totally awful contrary to popular belief. Though the opportunity hasn’t been available from the launch of Origin, it is still nice to have. Similar to Steam, the offline mode now accessible in Origin allows the player to play…well, offline. While EA discourages cheating as they should, they feel that this is a fair implementation for those that have had their account banned or suspended.
Also, if you feel obligated to try to get your account back in full running condition, check out this article. While you wait for them to get back to you, at least you can play offline. To play offline, “go to the settings tab in Origin (the gear icon) and select Go Offline.” This only seems to make sense considering users should be able to play the games that they [usually] pay for…
