More complaints seem to be coming in about the Xbox 360 Battlefield 3 rented servers but it seems that DICE is getting the message.
Players have been tweeting to DICE since the rented servers appeared on the 360 with some even saying “thanks for ruining my BF3 experience”, but it seems DICE does know the issues people have with the servers. Many suggest being able to choose between DICEs servers and the rented servers and it seems that this is what they will do from a tweet today by the official Battlefield 3 account. The tweet responding to a message of disgust of the searching system read “I’ll turn this into a suggestion and let the devs know that you’d like to sort official and private servers”; adding “Rented servers are technically private servers”.
So hopefully with this suggestion DICE will be able to implement a system that pleases all players, sooner rather than later.

April 14, 2012 at 7:44 PMI hope they do. I’m tired of being kicked or banned from a server just because that was my luck of landing in it.

April 15, 2012 at 6:57 AMDont hold your breath! The BF3 hardcore community have been tweeting them for a month in regard to the rotations( this came into effect to phase in “private servers”) all we’ve had in response is the ” we’ll let the dec team know” official line.
Which goes no where due to EA selling off hardcore servers for rented servers!
When it comes down to it EA care a 1000 x more about player generated income than the players overall gaming experience!
