Diablo III Beta Ends on May 1st

In preparation of Diablo III‘s release on May 15th, the beta is sadly coming to an end on May 1st. This means all characters and character data will be reset, though you’re free to restart on the full game after it releases.

In addition to the beta ending, the online community will also be more restrictive. To continue posting on the site you will need to have Diablo III pre-purchased, or have a Starcraft 2 or World of Warcraft game license attached to your battle.net account. While this is disappointing, you still have 2 weeks to enjoy the game, so make the most of it.

Your wording makes it sound like players have access to the full game come May 2nd.

I am so glad I was able to finally get a Diablo 3 beta key! I wish I could play it longer though as May 1st is approaching quickly. But if anyone else is still in the hunt for a beta key you can try this website (this is where I got my key) http://www.deviousdog.com/diablo3betakeygiveaway/
