After a good run, Compile Heart has made a post mentioning the end of the game industry. This is not to be confused with our world, but the world of Neptunia. The update basically mentions that due to fiscal problems, the game industry is dead. It also goes on to explain the problems, like piracy, hacking, negative reception and rising costs.
While this could spell bad news for fans, as both games had mixed results, this is most likely a Aprils Fools day joke. The announcement has many jokes similar to the Neptunia games, so this definitely seems to be the case. However, since it wasn’t posted on April 1st, there is still a small chance that it is legitimate.
