Ubisoft has officially announced that Assassin’s Creed III will be heading to Japan sometime later this year. This comes hot on the heels of the recent explosion of news that we all saw. Ubisoft also launched a website for the Japanese version of the game and released a subtitled trailer that is similar to the one we received weeks ago.
It is highly likely that the Japanese version of the game will only be given Japanese subtitles and will not receive full on voice work. But hey, at least the people of Japan can enjoy the epic third entry in the series now too without having to have it shipped in. Assassin’s Creed III is currently slated for an October release on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
