Ubisoft has now revealed the Assassin’s Creed 3 collector’s editions which will be avaialble for gamers in Europe, The Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The Collector’s Edition for Assassin’s Creed 3 will come in three flavors. There is the The Freedom Edition, The Join or Die Edition and The Special Edition. All of the editions will be available from October 31st on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Freedom Edition
This prestigious edition includes everything an experienced Assassin needs to become a freedom fighter. It includes:
– Assassin’s Creed III retail game
– A 24-cm high-quality figurine of Connor
– A steel book case art drawn by awards-winning comic artist Alex Ross
– George Washington’s notebook revealing all the truth & secrets about the Assassins and the Templars during the American Revolution
– One exclusive Lithograph
– 2 in-game Single Player Missions:
o Lost Mayan Ruins: Connor’s mission leads him in an old Mayan pyramid, full of mysteries and revelations. Players will be able to unlock Captain Kidd’s fabled cutlass, a deadly, brutal and beautiful piece of steel.

– 1 in-game Single Player Mission:
o Ghost of War: The tide of the Revolution turns into the Templars favour. Defeat your enemies and unlock The Pontiac’s War Club, a powerful Native American weapon.
– 1 in-game Multiplayer Package:

The Special Edition
The Special Edition features a special packaging, the retail copy of the game and an exclusive single player mission (see below) and more:

March 28, 2012 at 3:20 PMGrand, so as a non special edition buyer I’m once more going to miss out on a few single-player missions. Once more, limits are put on my experience.
DLC already makes my skin crawl, but these extra missions for special edition buyers take the prize though.
This ‘trend’ is getting very infuriating.

I don’t know why you or anyone is surprised by this. You can STILL find retail CE’s of Brotherhood. That means they’ve been sitting on a shelf for 16 months… At this point they clearenced them down to almost nothing (like $10 at TRU), so why would they bring around another CE?
