Nintendo has announced that players will receive special bonuses for Fire Emblem Awakening for the 3DS via StreetPass. Players will be able to share their created characters with other to add to their armies for use in battle. Players will also be able to receive side-story maps via SpotPass and can join a friend in battle via the Dual Tag mode which ca also be played locally.
Fire Emblem Awakening is currently set to be released on April 19 in Japan and sometime in 2012 for Europe. A United States release date has not been announced but fans can safely assume that the game will arrive here within the year.
