Following the previous announcement that 3.5 million copies of Mass Effect 3 were shipped in the first week, sales data have been revealed and the game sold 1.85 million units in total.
This is according to data compiled by VGChartz. In terms of the breakdowns, the Xbox 360 version sold 1.28 million units, the PS3 version sold 370,000 units and the PC version sold 200,000 units at retail.
This is an increase compared to sales from the previous two games. Mass Effect 2 sold around only 1 million units in its first week and the first game only sold 384,121 units in its first week.
