Today, the first of three upcoming expansion packs for Battlefield 3 was given a trailer. Close Quarters, as the name implies, keeps friends and foes tightly packed together in a smaller area than Battlefield players are used to.
Also, new weapons will be joining the mix, allowing players to vary up their loadout as they cause huge destruction in a small arena. 10 new weapons will be available and we know 9 of them so far: M417 sniper rifle, L86-LSW, L86A1, M5K, ACW-R carbine, AUG, LSAT, SPAS 12 and MTAR-21.

Close Quarters will be available in June for $14.99/1200 MSP, with PS3 players receiving the new content one week early.
