Grim Trailer
Achieved an overall platinum rating ten or more times.
You will need to achieve platinum on ten different stages. To achieve a platinum rating, you need platinum in all three areas. These are easier to do later on, but more annoying. The opposite is true for earlier stages. I have included a few of my platinum runs, so use these to guide you on the various trophies.
Eternal Reaper
Crushed 1,000 foes.
This should unlock around stage 20.
Demon God’s Bane
Defeated all bosses.
Beat stage 30.
Bastion of Bloodshed
Completely filled the Demonic Compendium.
Interestingly enough, this also unlocks on stage 30.
Sage of Swords
Alchemized all weapons and armor for soldiers.
See “Alchemist of Hell”.
Sage of Spears
Alchemized all weapons and armor for spearmen.
See “Alchemist of Hell”.
Sage of Staffs
Alchemized all weapons and armor for magi.
See “Alchemist of Hell”.
Gold
Lord of Tartarus
Cleared all Tartarus stages (31 – 40).
This is the final area in the game and is extremely difficult without good equipment. I basically stuck with the Magi class and only used the “Holy Star-Sinker” weapon. This is going to be the “make it or break it” point in the game.
Divine Den of Vice (Stage 35):
Make sure you use the Magi class and the Holy Star-Sinker. This will usually allow you to squeak in extra attacks, plus you can avoid attacks with ease. Also make sure you have a fire protective armor.
True Ruler on Earth (Stage 36):
This is one of the most annoying stages. This is because you have to fight two slayers (jumping bugs) and 2 Boonbarins. You will want death resistant armor for the Magi class, with a strong weapon. You might want to consider using a few Spearmen too.
Fallen Angel Anew (Stage 37):
Unlike other stage, you’re going to want speed over protection. This is because several rooms can be avoided by pressing a button. The faster you do this, the fewer problems you will have to deal with.
Demons of the Vendetta (Stage 38):
Okay, so this is the first boss only stage in the game. This means you’re going to need some really good tactics. I platinumed them both on my first try with the Magi using the “Holy Star-Sinker”, though you might want to try another tactic. To help you plan your attack, I have included what boss is where. Keep in mind, that I thought this was the hardest stage in the game.
Top Right: Beelzeboon
Bottom Right: Glutia
Bottom Left: Pyrosaura x2
Top Left: Empyraptor, Beatrix
Final Room: Gigadon x4
War Upon War (Stage 39):
This is the same thing as stage 38, but with different enemies. Thankfully, there are a few tricks for this stage. In the final room, make sure you kill Thundoom first. This is because he has an AOE instant kill move. Additionally you can limit the Lord beasts by killing certain enemies. This is easier to do here, as you can easily tell the bosses apart.
Bottom Left: Bluebolt
Bottom Middle: Spidread
Bottom Right: Boonbairn
Middle: Devor
Top: Gigadon, Magflare, Thundoom
Infamy of Tartarus
Cleared a Tartarus stage (31 – 40) with an overall platinum rating.
I actually cleared half of Tartarus with platinum on my first try. Due to this I don’t think you will have any issues, but you can find my times under “Grim Trailer”.
Pinnacle of Gore
Exceeded 66,666 jewels in your possession.
Getting platinum on a Tartarus stage will give you 10,000 jewels. This basically means that you should just naturally accomplish this. If not, constantly replay stage 40 since it’s a joke.
Cleanser of Hell
Crushed 3,000 Foes.
I got this by stage 30, so you will get this prior to beating the game.
Alchemist of Hell
Alchemized all possible weapons, armor, and items.
This will be your last trophy and is all about constantly replaying boss battles. Just make sure to attack noncritical places and try to achieve platinum ranks. The higher your score, the better items you earn.
Platinum
Overlord of the Underworld
Obtained all trophies.
Do every task.

May 27, 2012 at 12:06 AMThanks for the only useful guide I could find for this game. I managed to get most of my Platinum ranks within the first 10 stages. Using 70/30 Soldiers-to-Magi or 60/40. For both, I equipped the Bunny Ear armor that is one of the 3 free DLCs for the game. For weapon, whatever strongest weapons you have for Soldier and for Magi, it seems that Holy Star something weapon is the best.
The only thing left for me is Alchemizing every weapon/armor. I am not sure it would be worth the grind. Seems like one would have to replay stages 38-40 multiple times for whatever remaining materials are needed.
