Resurrection Inceptor
Cleared the first stage.
Beat the first stage… it’s almost impossible to fail.
Lord of Hell
Cleared up to stage 20.
Army Corps of Hell is fairly straight forward till stage like 15. I strongly suggest reading the how to play above and changing up your army. Additionally, make sure you use a code unlocked mantle, as they have the best stats for this part of the game.
Hard Stages:
Master of Decay (Stage 15):
This is only going to stress you out, if you don’t use the Magi class. This is because they tend to kill the bigger bugs, which kills mass amounts of tiny bugs. Once you kill all the little bugs, he’s basically a joke. Finish him off when he falls the first time or you will need to redo all of this again.
Beyond the Inferno (Stage 16):
I had a lot of problems with this stage, but early on the Spearmen can do wonders. If done correctly, they’re able to drop the boss with little to no issue. Once the first one is down, the second one will be a joke.
The Dragons Ridge (Stage 17):
Keep the Spearmen class and plow through the stage. These guys should be able to prevent the dragon from even attacking, which removes any stress during that fight.
Return of the King (Stage 20):
This stage is frankly a joke. Any class can easily beat the boss, but I would suggest the Magi class. The boss is able to easily wipe out your forces, so you want to play it safe over fighting too hard.
Hell’s Soldiers
Cleared a stage between 11 and 20 with soldiers only.
I strongly suggest playing stage 11, as they only get harder as you progress. If you’re having issues, try using a smaller group of staying in formation.
Hell’s Spearmen
Cleared a stage between 11 and 20 with spearmen only.
Considering I could only beat stage 16 with the spearmen, that’s a fantastic stage to just complete it on. Additionally stage 17 is a joke with the Spearmen class. Either stage is extremely easy if you stay in formation.
Hell’s Magi
Cleared a stage between 11 and 20 with magi only.
Since beating stage 15 is very doable with the Magi class, it’s best to just wait till then. Additionally you could consider doing it on stage 14 as that’s how I got my platinum.
Infamy of Hell
Cleared a stage between 11 and 20 with an overall platinum rating.
This is best done on Hordes of Eternity (stage 14) with the Magi class. This is a lot easier to do with higher tier equipment, so you might be better off doing it later. Basically this stage is limited to basic enemies, so you shouldn’t have many issues winning. However, keep in mind that less troops are easier to control and maintain than many.
Hell’s Serenader
Achieved the maximum rating (excellent) in one of the musical instrument mini-games.
Pick the guitar and just randomly move your fingers across the back of your vita. This should easily unlock the trophy.
Sin’s Slaughterrer
Crushed 100 foes.
This will come with time.

May 27, 2012 at 12:06 AMThanks for the only useful guide I could find for this game. I managed to get most of my Platinum ranks within the first 10 stages. Using 70/30 Soldiers-to-Magi or 60/40. For both, I equipped the Bunny Ear armor that is one of the 3 free DLCs for the game. For weapon, whatever strongest weapons you have for Soldier and for Magi, it seems that Holy Star something weapon is the best.
The only thing left for me is Alchemizing every weapon/armor. I am not sure it would be worth the grind. Seems like one would have to replay stages 38-40 multiple times for whatever remaining materials are needed.
