Well I suppose the above image spoils it pretty thoroughly, but there’s a part of me and I hope other people as well that’s glad to hear Miyamoto’s ideal game experience isn’t a Mario title.
Pikmin 3 is a game Shigeru has been meaning to make happen for a while now. So why the hesitation? Apparently he was simply waiting for his dream console, the bright and shining beacon through which the mad developer’s dream’s can be fueled.
The Wii U, with its HD capabilities and subscreen options, appears to be the ideal platform for the… oh jeez, what genre would you classify this thing as?
Okay, Wikipedia says its real time strategy. The subscreen, I imagine, would be the sticking point. Let’s hope Miyamoto thinks the same.
