Twisted Metal launched today and a great deal of fans have been meeting match making issues preventing them from playing the game’s online modes. When trying to join an online game, players are either met with a networking error when trying to join or are kicked out of a match stating they have a poor connection. David Jaffe came out with an official statement via Twitter stating:
”Matchmaking update: matchmaking going offline for 10-20 min, so Sony can install code that when servers return will make matchmaking much more stable.”
Other users have been reporting that their systems are freezing and overheating. Jaffe has stated that these were also issues that the demo has and stated that he alerted SDQA about this issue and is sorry if it’s happening. He ended by stating “if it’s on the software end- can’t solve tonight.”
