A couple of days ago, the social networking app, Facebook, that everyone has been waiting for was released on the PlayStation Store. Following several days of its release, the Facebook App has been pulled out from the PlayStation Store due to the issues that everyone has been experiencing.
If you attempt to launch the Facebook App right now, you’ll will notice that you’re no longer able to connect. The issue has been acknowledged by Sony and they’re working around the clock to fix it. So far, the app has been removed and will be restored once the issues has been resolved.
The Vita Facebook application has been removed from the store. It will be republished once the difficulties Facebook have experienced have been resolved, currently there is no timescale for this. – Rabid, Official PlayStation Forum Moderator
