For those of you that have imported a PS Vita, expect to download a new firmware system for it today.
Firmware update version 1.52 fixes a few bugs that the PS Vita suffered during launch. They were only minor bugs although Sony did not share any official details what type of fixes they are.
According to Andriasang, version 1.52 fixes a problem version 1.51 had where the “3G system would not recognize your SIM card”
Thankfully, most of us won’t have that problem by the time the PS Vita is released in North America and Europe come February 22nd. Although it’s likely more firmware updates will be made by then…
