A viral website called nohopeleft.com has just popped up and given us the message that something will be announced January 19, 2012 at 2:00 pm PST. For those of you who live in a cave with no sense of time, that’s tomorrow. The site is filled with pictures of biohazard signs and messages saying “No Hope Left.” Could this be an announcement for a new Resident Evil?
While it is definitely a shot in the dark to say something like that, it has been found that GoDaddy WHOIS records dug up by GAF members that found the domain was registered by Identity Protection Service under the registrar WEBFUSION Ltd, who has been tied to a viral site related to Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City. It has also been reported that the No Hope Left branding has been linked back to Capcom.
The biggest hint towards this is the Resident Evil 15th Anniversary Party which will be happening on the 20th of January. It has been said that they may announce new projects closer to this time and what better time to reveal a new Resident Evil title than at the Anniversary Party?
Whether this is about Resident Evil or something else entirely remains to be seen. Be sure to check back here tomorrow for the solution to this mystery.
