Gameplay Gets Repetitive and Frustrating
In the first hour of playing Amy, I found the gameplay to be as what I would’ve wanted in a survival horror game; the unexpected enemies showing up, the lack of weapons and how often the heal injection appears in the game. As I spent the rest of the chapters, I noticed in the end that I’ve done nothing but the same thing over and over again, where Amy and Lana must hide and do switches to proceed in the latter chapters. While Amy is a survival-horror game, the objective becomes monotonous that it forgets the part where they have to show the horror too at the same time.
Another frustrating thing found in Amy is that it doesn’t have any manual save points to stop and play through the game later. Instead, there will be checkpoints, but still, that way they’re set is unbalanced. With no save points or a way to save your progress, you will be forced to play the game in one sitting unless you want to go through the horrendous chapters all over again.
Unmanageable Controls
Getting around Amy can get very frustrating especially if the controls are awkward and aren’t very responsive. Instead of making the game user-friendly where players can just pick up the game and play, traversing through the six chapters will be a troublesome. At times, getting Amy to follow Lana won’t happen even though the right button is pressed – with this happening, death is inevitable.
VERDICT
Instead of Amy showing a lot of promise and expectation back when it was announced, the game ended up to be a complete disaster due to its technical glitches, unbalance gameplay and poor game design. No matter how good the soundtrack and characters are in Amy, the flaws overshadows the positives even at this low budgeted price. Think twice before you think about purchasing Amy.

I just gave the trial version a try on Live and there’s not a snowballs chance in hell…..LOL I buy this bug ridden pile of crap!
