Japanese gaming magazine, Dengeki PlayStation had a chance to review Final Fantasy XIII-2 and rated it a “S”. This is the magazine’s highest rating. Although the big news is that Sazh may not even appear in the main game.
Sazh was a main character in Final Fantasy XIII but has never really been mentioned in Final Fantasy XIII-2. All the trailers and screenshots that we have seen thus far do not feature Sazh in any fashion whatsoever. The magazine had an interview section where Square Enix were asked if we would see Sazh. The reply was simply “Final Fantasy XIII-2 will continue after release, so look forward to (that) later.”
This suggests more substantial DLC could be planned for Final Fantasy XIII-2. So far only a few extra weapons, monsters and costumes have bee announced. It will be cool if an extra adventure or two is added to Final Fantasy XIII-2 since Final Fantasy XIII had no DLC at all.
