If you own a Playstation 3 and you don’t have a PS+ membership, you are missing out on a lot of great deals. Normally PS+ members get a range of discounts and every now and then Sony gives them a free downloadable title, but usually its a game like Magic the Gathering, or PSOne classics. This month Sony is giving away a few free games to PS+ members as well, but these games are ones that you do not want to miss.
In today’s Playstation blog post, Director of the Playstation Store Grace Chen, announced that PS+ members will be able to take advantage of up to $250 worth of savings with $50 of that amount being in free digital games. Free games include Tomb Raider: Underworld, which received mixed reviews across the web, as well as Marvel Pinball, and the PSOne Classic Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
Interestingly enough, this is the third Spyro title to be re-released to PS+ members and if this is the same pattern that we’ve seen with both the Jak and Daxter, and Sly Cooper franchises, could we be getting an announcemnet soon about a new Spyro game? Only time will tell but according to Sony’s blog, all three PSOne Spyro titles will be available for PS+ members this month, along with new full game trials and early access to new minis as well.
If you are not a PS+ member and you own a PS3, now is definitely the time to jump on board because these saving will pay for themselves in no time flat.
