Earlier this week, Bethesda released a patch for Skyrim that fixes majority of the issues such as the texture glitch on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. While the intention of Bethesda is to fix these problems, the new patch however causes more issues for the players such as the Dragons flying backwards.
To remedy the issues right away, Bethesda revealed today that they will release a follow-up patch next week. These patch will fix what the new issues that was found on 1.2 patch.
We’ve also realized that with the millions upon millions of people playing Skyrim, we need to treat our updates with greater care. If we get too aggressive trying to fix a minor issue, we run a risk of breaking something larger in a game like this. To be safe, we are prioritizing code side fixes right now over data fixes…
Due to the certification issues for the consoles, they will arrive late next week for the PS3 and Xbox 360 while PC will get it first.
