Diablo III is a pretty highly anticipated game, and because of the abundance of Starcraft players in the region, I’m sure Korea’s no exception at all. So, to get the game past customs, as most games must, it’s being put through the Korean ratings board.
This is riskier than it seems.
Diablo III has a full auction house system based on real money and Korea is NOT cool with the idea of gambling in games. The game could be completely denied by the Korean government. Blizzard has put down the game with full auction house, all or nothing style.
The ratings usually take about 15 days to process, though this game could easily last longer.
