Uncharted 3 has managed to sell over 1.1 million copies worldwide in the first week on sale.
This is a new record for the Uncharted franchise as it is 30% higher than the sales figures recorded for Uncharted 2 when it was released two years ago.
Uncharted 3 is the 4th biggest launch for a PS3 exclusive title behind Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4 and God of War 3. It is the 12th biggest launch for the PS3 overall.
Estimations are that Uncharted 3 should be able to sell around 4 or 5 million copies overall. Not too shabby at all for a PS3 exclusive title.
