If you’re into the special kind of humour and charm that Double Fine display in every one of their games then this news post goes out to you! Iron Brigade (previously known as Trenched) will be out in Europe on the 30th of November.
Trenched launched without a hitch everywhere in the world but in Europe. The reason for this was a trademark claim made by a Protugese manufacturer of board games, who held the trade mark for a board game named ‘Trench’. The company moved to block Microsoft from releasing the game in Europe, claiming that Trenched infringed on their trademark. The game was supposed to release worldwide way back in June, but don’t worry anymore – that’s all in the past.
Project lead Brad Muir also had something to take away the sting of that long, lonely wait – free stuff! “We added a brand new, incredibly challenging infinite Survival Mode with ten new pieces of high-powered loot, along with a new leaderboard to track players on this Survival Mission,” Muir said. “European players had to wait so long for this game, we wanted to make it up to them with awesome new features.”
